Hola, I’m Ashley, a bilingual Licensed Social Worker. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) as part of a specialized training cohort focused on supporting children and families in underserved urban communities. Supporting young people and families through life’s challenges is something I care deeply about and what led me to pursue a career in social work.

I approach therapy from a relational and trauma-informed perspective and integrate principles from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Theory of Behavior, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other strengths-based practices. I believe therapy should meet people where they are. I work with clients to tailor our work together to their individual needs, strengths, and goals so that therapy feels supportive and meaningful to their lives.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Many of the clients I support are navigating emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, family stress, and life transitions. I understand that many people today are also navigating pressures related to school, relationships, identity, and social media. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and talking openly about what they’re going through. I believe that building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. I’m known for having a bubbly personality and a sense of humor. I believe bringing warmth, authenticity, and a little lightheartedness into the room helps clients feel more comfortable opening up. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I look forward to supporting clients as they work toward greater understanding, growth, and well-being.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, especially throughout Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean. I love experiencing different cultures, food, and environments whenever I travel. I also enjoy trying new restaurants and cafés, practicing yoga and Pilates, listening to music and vibing to my favorite playlists, and spending time with family. I have two fur babies, one dog and one cat, who keep life fun and busy. In my free time, I enjoy making coffee drinks, refreshers, and matcha at home and often joke that I’m running my own little Starbucks. You may even see me in the office with one of my creations.
